People have argued since pretty much the dawn of time about why people believe in the things that they do – Racism, Sexism, Anti-Semitism and are any Manchester United fans actually from Manchester?.
This blog might be a little off the topic as the BNP are obviously none of the above (insert some sort of sarcasm smiley face thing). Anyway the general rule that I have found whilst researching these blogs is that people believe that the supporters of the BNP are both ignorant and stupid.
But I don’t think this is the case if you look through history the majority of naughty boys and girls your Hitlers, John Terrys, and Kerry Katonas (sarcasm thing again) are quite well educated. More
With a General Election due to be called any day now and UK voting figures at an all time low the question has to be asked, why don’t young people vote?
In the 2005 election about 60% of the population turned out to vote, with more than half of people aged between 18 and 30 not even bothering to register.
Apologies for neglecting this blog – I would blame the snow but that would be a bit too British. Anyway I hope everyone has had a good Christmas and New Year.
