Teesside Unleashes in Marton

Marton Country Club once again played host to Middlesbrough’s main comic book convention.

Hundreds of people from around the local area come to Middlesbrough to experience Teesside Unleashed.

This event gives fans of Sci-Fi, comic books and video games, the chance to dress up as their favourite characters and participate in the event.

Entertainment was provided with a mixture of shows, fan stalls and trivia competitions.

Kurt Scott from Guisbourough said: ” I am having a lot of fun, everyone is really friendly and enthusiastic and I am seeing some great costumes.”

Various merchandise was available to buy, ranging from T Shirts, toys, video games and more, as
Teesside Unleashed gives local businesses the oppurtunity to come and advertise the items they have to offer.

Nikki Greid co-owner of Bear and Rue said: “My company designs and hand-prints these beautiful boards that you see here, the variety of this event means people often request multiple designs which is great for business.”

Now in its fourth year, Teesside Unleashed continues to grow in popularity with increasing new and different attractions found at every event.
