Jack Fox Up Close

You Die Twice caught up with Geordie comedian and rapper Jack Fox to find out his inspiration behind releasing a new EP per month in 2018.

We caught up the jack of all trades at an open-mike night hosted by The Merchant’s Tavern, Newcastle – a lovely pub situated by the mariner at the end of the quayside featuring a whole host of North East comic talent.

When speaking to Jack it was clear he had a real desire to just entertain people. This is clear though his production of an EP every month.

The EP’s will range in genre crossing over between hip-hop and acoustic.

Jack Fox said: “You’ve got to be spontaneous and out there when you’re trying to be creative.”

The Geordie took inspiration for the challenge from Red Hot Chili guitarist John Frushanti, who went on a mission to release six solo albums in six months back in 2004.
